For Fort Tuthill Recreation Area: Google to “Luke AFB recreation areaâ€, and do not follow signs to Campsite. You will end up at Fort Tuthill County Park RV campsites.
I have suggested an edit on Google Maps for a “Fort Tuthill Luke AFB FamCampâ€.
As most have already said, cramped and un-level. Driving in after dark (which is sooner because of the mountains) adds to your excitement, try not to hit something (not lit well).
The “bath house†is across from the Hotel, not what some would consider close or centralized.
$30 is the price I usually pay for a level slab, full hook up, and clubhouse.
Check your furnace, as the site is about 6000 ft up. It will be in the 40s tonight, and it was 99 for most of the day from Phoenix.

For Fort Tuthill Recreation Area: What a gem of a place! Close to Flagstaff and not far from Sedona. Lots to do and see within a couple hour drive of here. The park like setting with its many trees can make parking a larger rig a little more challenging, but it’s totally worth it. Electric and water on RV sites and a dump station nearby. Friendly staff and clean facilities. The price is right too!

For Fort Tuthill Recreation Area: Passing through on a converted short school bus (4window) and I’m glad there are camp sites available. Stayed one night only, staff are friendly, easy check-in, camp sites are small, i stayed at camp site #10, no hookups, wifi at camp site #10 isn’t too good, 1 bar on AT&T, table/bench and grill station on site, porta potty a short walk, shower is across the check-in office, will return again but will request for a site with full hookups.

For Fort Tuthill Recreation Area: Last minute rez, had to take a tent site which was supposed to accommodate my 24’class c. First site assigned was a no go. It was no where near level (T11) and way to small even for our modest rig. I Was able to switch to T13, a pull through tent site which was very accommodating but the tent sites were virtually empty anyway. Sites are small, close together, unlevel and dusty. Wouldn’t even come back for an RV site. Probably the worst FamCamp I’ve seen. Too crowded, we had a Yurt practically right in our site fortunately it wasn’t occupied the night we stayed. I can’t imagine how unpleasant this place is when completely full. Another case of trying to fit too many sites/cabins/yurts on not enough property. Two stars for location, staff (4 stars for letting us move sites) and convenience to Flagstaff.
