For KOA Holiday Fort Collins Lakeside: This place is definitely child oriented. Our kids are grown, and live in Fort Collins, along with many friends, so we stay here anyway. We love that we can bike to Old Town and all around beautiful FoCo! The sites and facilities are excellent. We hate the fact that we have to pay $10 per day for each guest, and that we can never have more than 4 guests at a time, but I understand why the policy is necessary. We never had any problems with the staff or the facilities.

For KOA Holiday Fort Collins Lakeside: First, a couple of negatives that may be important to some like it was to us. The review will get better. If you will have guests visit you at the campground, be aware of the $10 per person, per day fee. Wow! Even if your guests will only be at your site, not enjoying the amenities they offer as justification for the cost — no exceptions (all spelled out on their website). For us, visiting family and friends in the area, it’s a deal breaker, we’ll camp elsewhere on future stays. Next - consider the internet non-existent. For an otherwise very nice campground (with premium site fees), the wifi is the worst we’ve encountered - anywhere. Only 4 access points for a park this large, very slow speeds, poor quality — come on Tengo Internet and KOA, unacceptable.
That said, it’s a very nice campground - clean, attentive staff, level sites, good restrooms, nice lake with walking trail, nice fenced dog run, a lot of included fun amenities for kids / families. Site widths are OK. But restrictive rules about the grass in the campsites … no rugs of any kind, no screen tent, no portable dog fences, etc. If none of the negatives above are important to you, you’ll probably enjoy this well-maintained campground.

For KOA Holiday Fort Collins Lakeside: Wonderful and friendly staff. Lots of fun things for the kids to do. Had pizza delivery (to site or pool) and garbage pickup every morning which was awesome. The pond was gross if you look too closely but was perfect for paddle boats. Site was concrete pad and awesome. Would absolutely stay here again.

For KOA Holiday Fort Collins Lakeside: This is definitely a kid themed KOA. It offers a great playground, water activities, peddle cars, and a fishing pond. Not exactly my thing so it was way over priced for what I was wanting which was a place to stay while visiting friends and family. It is big rig friendly with roads that were easy to maneuver. My pad was concrete that was level front to back and side to side. The water and electric are in the center of the pad; however, the sewer is at the very back of the pad and elevated about 4" off the ground. Water pressure was great at 40 to 45 psi and no electric issues. Sewer was slow to drain due to elevation. Cable was strong with good range of channels. Wifi was weak to non-existent. The concrete pads are narrow and you step off in mud or dirt. They say no mats on the grass, so mine wasn't on the grass but the mud at the end of my steps. They do have sprinklers go off over night to water the grass. There was very nice grass around the picnic table and grill. The sites are arranged to where your picnic table is not next to your neighbors sewer hose. They have a very nice fenced dog walk. The staff is extremely friendly. They led us to our site and guided us in for the best placement. They also pick up your garbage in the morning. The park is extremely clean and well maintained. Weakness include the awkward sewer connection placement, over priced for what you get compared to other KOAs, narrow concrete pads, and the sprinklers make any mud on your site that much more muddy. Great for a family with kids, overpriced for those of us just visiting family. We camped at Fort Collins / Lakeside KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
