For Ancient Cedars Mesa Cedars RV Park: Ancient Cedars is staffed by friendly, efficient, and helpful folks who took care of our needs at check in and during our stay. The park is clean and well maintained although we didn’t use the shower facilities. My wife appreciated the spacious and clean dog park that featured “playground equipment†for our pups. The close proximity to Mesa Verde can’t be beat either and we found the park to be quiet as well as dark at night. We experienced a mechanical issue during our stay which the staff helped us resolve, going above and beyond our expectations while being pleasant the entire time. The owner even stopped by to see how things were going with our repair. 1st class service. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

For Ancient Cedars Mesa Cedars RV Park: Overall good campground with great location just outside Mesa Verde. We very much enjoyed the older putt putt course (2adults and 2teens) and also appreciated the “Barney Fife†camp hosts as they made sure rules were followed and that we had peaceful stay. Staff was very helpful. We chose to stay in the back part of the campground to avoid the tighter spots closer to the playground. However playground was nice and all families there w young kids seemed to be enjoying themselves thoroughly. Bathrooms very clean and somewhat updated.
