For High Springs Campground: Small park under mature trees. Friendly people. Sites are all on hard packed sand. Some roads are paved but rough. Stayed overnight in 40’ MH with tow. Our site was long enough and level. All in all, good place for a quick overnight.

For High Springs Campground: This place needs a lot of work. Tree roots make narrow sites difficult to level. No WiFi, many unkempt trailers, several with broken down cars parked in front of the camper. Some of these units haven’t been moved in so long that vines have grown up over them. Staff was friendly & guided (walked) us to our spot. Very tight turns, narrow “road” with cars parked in the road, blocking passage. Camp here if you have no other choice.

Ayers

For High Springs Campground: Friendly staff. Very old park with year round residents. This is a one or two night stay over. We used this place as a stop going down too Punta Gorda for two nights. It was great for that. Great restraint in High Springs and a few nice parks to hike in. Bathrooms and showers were old but very clean. A good place to sleep.
