For Fort De Soto Park: Fantastic county park. Great sites and clean facilities. They have sites that are right on the water. Such a beautiful area with so much to do. Easy access to beaches right at the park or a short drive to the St Pete beaches. We will definitely be coming back.

For Fort De Soto Park: What a great park!! We absolutely loved our stay! Park staff at check in were amazing! We needed to change our spot due to the size of our rig and they worked hard to make it right for us. Camp shop staff were also amazing! Very Friendly and courteous. Camp shop is well stocked and has coffee and ice cream too! So much to do here we will have to come back to experience it all. Beaches were beautiful and the dog beach and dog park were great! Definitely visit the historic fort area.

For Fort De Soto Park: We came here right after a stay in Fort Wilderness. It was definitely not a let-down. We had a site in the pet area, our pup was the only one we saw the whole time. Our biggest mistake was staying only 3 nights. We could have stayed much longer, there is so much to do in the park and in nearby St. Petes. Great sites and clean facilities.

Charlie and Lynn
For Fort De Soto Park: Charlie and Lynn leave in Clearwater FL and have visited Ft DeSoto Park over 40 years. Tent camping has been excellent, safe, clean restrooms and showers, well groomed and maintained. This year 2018 purchased Mallard M27 and camped in RV section February and again in March, excellent time. We have had family in tents and RV excellent experiences...check in easy, polite staff... each site has water, electricity, easy access to either of the two dump stations. We have own wifi so no information on their availability. We have already set reservations for returning in August and September
