For Little Manatee River State Park: Campground is par with Florida State campgrounds it is sufficient. But Kayaking the river is 1 star:( … lots of debris from falling trees. Hard to run up or down stream trying to navigate around and through the trees and limbs.
The state needs to clean up the river if they want kayaks to run it. It could be very nice. But other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

For Little Manatee River State Park: Stayed here Feb 21 for one night in a 27' TT. Bath house is STILL being renovated. Very small and quaint campground - good privacy between sites. Looks like it is mainly geared toward those who ride horses.

For Little Manatee River State Park: Bathhouse is being renovated and a trailer is being used as a replacement (March 2019). Not a pleasant experience. The sites are all on a sort of sand/mud base that sticks to everything in the morning after a heavy dew. Site are well spaced and private.
