For Southern Retreat RV Park: We have been staying at Southern Retreat on and off for years. Each time we come back something is updated and improved! It's a clean, well looked after spot to stay for a few days, lots to see and do in the area.

For Southern Retreat RV Park: we stay at this park on our way too and from Florida, it's an easy stop off I-95 (exit 29), sites are level and drain well, roads are paved. Sites are long but a bit narrow, I was told they are adding new, wider spots. People in the park are very friendly. Restaurant food was good.

Mike
For Southern Retreat RV Park: I stayed in a primitive tent site here in May 2020 and found it perfectly fine for an overnight stop. Tent area is a grassy area toward the back of the property, bordered by trees on one side and a canal (fence separated) on another. Tent area is couple feet higher than the rest of the property, so seems like it would be ok in case or rain (it was dry when I was there). Relatively quiet night. Bathrooms (50 yards away?) were clean. I didn't use any other amenities so can't comment. Friendly customer service over the phone with reservation, and in the office the next morning. Nothing fancy but I saw no negatives. Would stay again.

Lori
For Southern Retreat RV Park: New owners in last six months. New name Southern Retreat RV. New website. This was our first stay. Compared to others past reviews, improvements are being made. But, still rather rough. All sites are grass, slightly sloppy when wet. Bathrooms were clean, seemed to have some upgrades from past reviews, not as basic as a state park but still basic. Access was easy from
I-95. A few stores, restaurants, fuel options nearby. Connie at the front desk was very nice and check-in was easy. We travel in a 42’ motorhome, flat towing a Jeep.
