For Robins AFB FamCamp: There are no RV campsites available for travelers as all the sites are taken by people who have the sites for a year or longer. The camp manager is nice to talk to, but mostly unavailable to “manage “ the camp due to having to work the outdoor rec office. We stayed at the skeet range where there was no sewer hook up. There are 3 sites here and they all use the same water faucet hook up that is supplied with only a single garden hose feed. The very narrow, somewhat paved path, has overhanging tree branches that scraped across the A/C units. In desperate need of trimming. If you have pets that are afraid of shooting, stay away. No dumpster on the grounds. NOT WORTH EVEN THE $20 PER NIGHT.

Homeward bound
For Robins AFB FamCamp: We came off Io 75 looking for a place for overnight. The directions on one of the websites about getting to the commercial gate was incorrect it is actually gate three and you need to stop wiell be for the gate so that they can pull you into the big inspection building. They checked ID and did a walk-through of the camper Once you go through the gate there are a lot of turns to get to the Cape site. We thought there was a pull through available but it was occupied when we got there, it seems the people got here a day early. We decided to park in the overflow area which really isn’t marked. We found out from one of the other campers that there is no hot water in the showers so we use the restrooms by the office to wash up. Overall it is a very pretty setting and the sites don’t look bad but without a reservation and no hot water it’s barely worth the $10 charge.

For Robins AFB FamCamp: I personally loved the fam camp. The manager helped me tremendously and the facilities were great and very clean. I stayed for 2 days last summer.
