For Camp A While: One of the few campgrounds in this area open this time of year. I called to confirm availability, and spoke to the new owner. Reserved a 2 night stay. The campground is small, and surrounded by cornfields...it’s as neat as a pin, and it’s clear the new owner takes pride in her business. Perfect for our stay!

For Camp A While: We absolutely love this charming little campground. It is wonderfully shaded, green and surrounded by corn fields. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our conversations with them and our dogs Buster & Rosa had a great time playing with Wrigley - who is the official greeter for Camp-a-While. We highly recommend this perfect spot!

For Camp A While: A great little surprise. The owner was very nice & helpful. We were there in early spring so the large trees had no leaves - must be nice in summer. Must be like camping on the middle of a cornfield in season. Very pretty little place.

For Camp A While: The other reviewers had the owner as friendly and helpful. That was not my experience. Perhaps I was dealing with a host and not the owner. Also when we pulled in the host/owner was not on site. He had a Good Sam’s poster in the window indicating that he was approved by Good Sam’s. However, it was a 2017 poster he had left up. Needless to say there was no 10% discount. The campground is small, but doable. The host/owner needs to work on his people skills.
