For Indigo Bluffs Resort: This resort will be 5 star when they finish the club house and finish landscaping the new campsites. It is beautifully laid out with very spacious sites but a number of them are quite raw ours was one of them. Facilities are at check in as of this post, a long walk!

For Indigo Bluffs Resort: Stayed at the campground side vs resort side. Checkin staff friendly and very efficient. Escorted to site and staff was very helpful and offered to help hook up. Full hook up, pull through, 50 amp site (#321) in the newer section of the campground. Access roads and pull through well maintained gravel. Site was level with a concrete patio pad. The site was a nice long pull through. Good spacing between sites. Site drained well during a very heavy thunderstorm. They have not planted grass in the areas between the sites (reason for 4 vs 5 stars). Excellent utilities with stable power, good water pressure. Back-in sites in new area could be a challenge for larger 5th wheels. There are two rows of back-ins that access from the same access road. The deeper site requires a long back-in with tight turns through trees. Certainly doable but it will require some good back up skills with experienced observer. The bonus though is the back row sites all face the woods .... very private.
Older area of campground is just that .... older. Large grass sites some with sewer. All sites appear to have gang power and water so be sure to have a lot of hose and power cords. Fairly well maintained.
Stayed here in July 2017 in a 5th Wheel. Would stay again.

Honest Review
For Indigo Bluffs Resort: We stayed in the rv resort verses the grampground. The rv resort is set up like a motor coach resort where the sites are owned. It is therefore very nice. Probably the nicest place we have ever stayed. Sites are payed out so there is plenty of privacy, each site is level with stamped concrete, furniture and fire pit are included, and the landscaping is well manicured. There is no cable service so if you don't have satellite you will be limited to two pbs stations. The location is great as it is located about 15 minutes from sleeping bear dunes and 30 minutes from traverse city. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back.
