For Munising Tourist Park Campground: We like state campgrounds. This is a worn campground. Streets some asphalt, most sand and gravel. You will hear road noise constantly in the back half. Highway 28 is 30’ from sites Sitting outside to relax is not an option Only tree sites are on right side and on lake. Only scenic sites are one the lake, otherwise just looking at campers. Sites are larger than normal but people set RV wherever, on the gravel pad, on the grass, perpendicular to the pad. Dump station. did not use bathrooms. It is cheap compared to others, but I would not stay again. Would pay more to relax. It is close to towns, boat tours etc.

For Munising Tourist Park Campground: Really liked it here, super closed to the Lake and the sunsets were awesome. The water spigots though! Hooking up here is a bit of a puzzle. But they have some extra water hose and try to accommodate as well as they can. Showers near the dump station were individual and as far as I could tell, only one was able to fit someone over 5 foot and that was the handicapped stall. I would stay here again.

For Munising Tourist Park Campground: Beautiful views and nice sandy beach. Very clean. The grassy sites are very large. The waterfront sites are pretty close together. This campground books up pretty fast. We were fortunate to get in on a cancellation.

For Munising Tourist Park Campground: Stayed in site # 12 it was level and waterfront. Great view of Lake superior and close to town for pictured rocks tour and other visiting.Nice showers and bath house. Electric and water was good. However, it rained and some of the lower central located campsites flooded. You may need extra long water and electrical hoses so ask before you reserve your site or make sure you bring extensions with you. Try the Muldoon pasty. It was huge and delicious. There are two locations in town. The Fish Basket, a little food truck, served up the best whitefish we’ve had so far. They are one block off the main road and they have a cute dining area set up inside a garage. Check it out!
