For Shields RV Park: There is 2 camping areas, one older and one that is newer. We stayed in the older one. All sites are paved, bathrooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. There is a train nearby that runs a few times. Would stay here again.

For Shields RV Park: Awesome military park. Clean restrooms and good (not great) laundry. Staff were awesome. Lots are good sized. Roads and pads are level and nice. Easy in and out the gate.
Don’t sit in the grass, even in a chair! You’ll thank me for that tip because I found out the hard way.

For Shields RV Park: We stayed in the new addition. It’s quite a ways from the main area but it’s nicer than those by the gate which is considered the old part. It’s quiet and there is a great dog park just around the corner. It was initially very hard to get a call back but it seems the staff is very limited. Restrooms and showers are very nice. We paid $19 per night because we stayed more than 7 days. No cable but you get local channels and depending on your TV antenna and the weather you can get New Orleans and Mobile stations. Enterprise Rent A Car not that far away if needed. We would definitely return.

For Shields RV Park: A great place for our short stay. Easy to get to and convenient services. The young lady staffing the office was very friendly, helpful and attentive.
