For Serpent River Campground: A very nice, family-run campground at a very reasonable price. The pool wasn't open in early June (June 9), and some of the playground equipment was a bit rough, but overall a good experience. The transient sites are mostly in the front and are all gravel pull-throughs, which made our single-night stop very convenient. The perimeter sites and the sites at the back of the campground are mostly seasonal and some of the rigs don't look like they've moved in a decade, but the sites are mostly well-cared for. Everyone we spoke with was very friendly and there's good river access if you have a boat. Internet access was acceptable for me as a remote, mobile worker. We'll be back, if only for a single night here and there while in transit to other locations.

For Serpent River Campground: Very well kept. Modern infrastructure. Well stocked store and is open until 10pm 7 days a week.

For Serpent River Campground: Large very well manicured sites on grass. Extremely well maintained. Spotless bathrooms and showers. Laundry and wifi.
River is beautiful with kayaks for rent. Good little store. Nice pool. Most of all the owners are there and run it and are the nicest people ever. So helpful. Only negative is some traffic noise. We camped in our trailer with 15 amp and no water by the river and it was glorious.
