For Beach Resort at Turtle Rock: Definitely not friendly or welcoming and the locals that seem to be living here full time do not provide a nice atmosphere. Camp caretaker is Sturn and rude. Customer service is critical and as a business owner I would be more welcoming. We found this place on the app and it did not clarify reservations required. We rolled in very late, we were dangerously tired from travel, couldn’t see and figured since it had many open spots they were not going to be occupied all in that night that late we would settle in the morning . Camp host approached rudely and in short let us know we were unwelcomed and couldn’t pitch our tent in our truck bed even if we did stay. In the 12 hours of being here We did not use any hookup and used our own generator for any power. Chargers 40$ . If your tired and need to stop pull off to the side of the road. Do not stop at this campsite, no direct scenery views, road noise keep on going.

For Beach Resort at Turtle Rock: Turtle Creek RV Resort located about a mile south of Gold Beach Oregon is on the east side of Highway 101 across from the ocean front. Fortunately, the beach is easily accessed via a trail under a bridge. There are no views of the ocean but some of campsites are located on Hunter Creek that also passes under the bridge. Privacy is not great, but the campsites are spaced out good enough. Each site has full hookups and cable TV. During our visit the WIFI was not working properly the first day, but a subsequent repair provided a decent signal. The staff courteous and helpful. There is a restaurant located on the premise and one just outside the entry. There is a laundry that accepts quarters only. The town of Gold Beach has groceries, a hardware, gas stations, and restaurants. But the best part of all is staying at a well-located RV park so that you can play in the waves walk the ocean beach.

For Beach Resort at Turtle Rock: Pretty expensive for what you get, as noted by other reviewers. The gravel pathways are super dusty, and my RV was covered in a good layer of dust by the time we left (only one night). If we come back this way, I'll probably look for something different. It was a nice walk to the ocean. Cool temps in August and *very* windy.

For Beach Resort at Turtle Rock: Spent a week here in mid June, it was cool and windy every day. Walk to beach is good but was even more wind on the beach. Site was level, hookups easy accessed. A bit spendy. We probably won’t be back just because of the wind and cool temps.
