For Cape Blanco State Park: As everyone else has said, this is a beautiful campground in a fantastic location. We had site A44 which backed right up to a dense pine forest with a trail running along the sea bluff. Walking northwest takes you to a spectacular lighthouse with amazing views (3.5 miles round trip). Taking the trail south gives beautiful Cliffside views of the ocean and at the end, a steep half mile dissent down to one lane paved road to the beach (1.5 miles round trip). It looks like folks with four-wheel-drive we’re driving onto the beach and collecting driftwood for their fires. As others have mentioned there is water and power at each site but no dump station. However, we went North 30 miles to Bullards Beach State Park where they offer free dumping even for folks who are not using that campground (donations requested). This is a spectacular campground and I would not hesitate to go here again.

For Cape Blanco State Park: Beautiful park. Big spaces, lots of shade. It’s on a bluff pretty high above the beach. There is a table you could walk down to to look over the sunset. If you go into Port Orford there is an RV parking spot in town for $10. No hook ups. The state park does not have a dumpsite.

For Cape Blanco State Park: Beautiful campground- well designed for privacy between campsites. Clean hot showers, everything well maintained. One of the nicest campgrounds we have been in while doing a cross country trip. We’ve got a teardrop so we only need electric and the bumpy part of the road in was very mild. Highly recommend.

For Cape Blanco State Park: Park was clean, sites were separated from others by a good distance. Ling down hill walk to the beach and close to the light house by car or bike. We stayed in October AT&T lte worked good. Pros; Clean comfortable campground, quiet and clean. Cons; No dump station No easy beach access Electric and water hook ups only Summery; We would not stay here again and pay the full price for a camp ground that doesn’t have the dump station open, and the camp host was quick to jump on me when washing the outside windows not to get soap on the ground, even after I informed him it was window washer fluid and I was using a squeegee and my fluid was in a bucket! For those 2 reasons it gets 3 stars. Rate for electric and water with no dump station was $24.00 a night. But I do recommend going to the light house for a tour
