For Tower Campground: NOT FOR BIG RIGS!!!!!
All but 1 sites are back in. Very tight.
People are nice and big trees provide shade.

For Tower Campground: The campground is fine. However we were given wrong codes to access shower/bathroom. The code was on our receipt and circled for us when we checked in the night before. It took 2 hours to get a response. I called posted number, left 2 messages, knocked on campground host door (no response) went to office twice but was closed until 10 am. Finally, on second trip to the office, someone was there to give me correct codes. Very frustrating!!! A person did call later and apologized.

For Tower Campground: We stayed at this campground last night and were impressed for a few reasons. First of all, the owner was very nice and helpful! Second, the sites are spaced apart really nicely. About 40 feet between each RV, sometimes more (I think we were in the south part of the campground, site 306). Yes, some sites are back to back like the one we stayed in, but we prefer that over being squished side to side. Our RV is 37 feet long and we are towing a CRV. The CRV parked next to the RV. The RV fit in the site perfectly! The laundry facilities were immaculate, and the grounds appear to be kept up really well. Also, the Wi-Fi was better than any campground we had stayed at in the past 4000 miles of our journey around the west half of the USA. Also, it was about $5 to $10 less than most other campgrounds.
Yes, there is noise from the freeway, but we actually like that since our boys tend to be a little noisy. It masks the sounds they may make, and our AC units drown out any freeway sounds while inside the RV. I laugh at anyone who complains about freeway noise when they knowingly book a campground that is near the freeway.
I posted photos of the campground at the bottom of this blog entry:

For Tower Campground: The ONLY two good things about this campground were the cleanliness of the washrooms and the WiFi signal. The sites are WAY to short for any rig over 30 feet, because they seem to want to have the site behind you full as well???? All the sites are back to back, so everyone gets to look at the "utilities" (fancy word for sewer hose) there are no individual fire pits, thou you likely would not sit outside much anyway because the noise from the INTERSTATE is deafening! You could throw a stone and hit a semi on the I29 RIGHT beside you! I agree with the power 'situation' (insert scam here!) All the sites are the same... If you had to self register consider yourself lucky, because the lady in the office has not a clue how to run an office. She put us into a site that was already occupied and it appeared the task of moving us to any one of, oh say, TWENTY vacant spots, was WAY beyond her mental capabilities.... The sites are indeed all level, black top, very hot for sure but then with the noise out there who would sit outside anyway! There are many many many contract workers in the campground, they have many many vehicles and "toys" in and overflowing from their sites... Consequently, they are parked everywhere, making the task of getting around them to leave a near impossibility. There are better places to stay within a 10 minute drive. There are NO grocery or other conveniences close by so make sure you stop before you go in if you do decide to stay. WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!
