Grammy

For KOA Journey Douglas: This was our second stop at the Douglas KOA. The first time was overnight but this time we stayed a week. Had a great Double wide pull through spot near the office. Grassy areas throughout and some shade. Served meals over the weekend for an extra fee which was quite reasonable. Park was busy with people going in and out each day but was still quiet and peaceful. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and would come back if in the area again.

Ginger

For KOA Journey Douglas: Nice KOA and very nice people who work there. We have two dogs and the bunnies are EVERYWHERE! They drove our dogs nuts. They do have a small, but beautiful grassy fenced dog area so that helped. Our spot had a bit of shade and was quiet, but some spots were very open.

MikeGD

For KOA Journey Douglas: This KOA is a little out of town (1.5 miles) but well worth the trip. The Staff is very friendly and competent. Good WiFi, a dog run with grass, not a scabby back lot, there is even breakfast and dinner for a very modest price, and it's good too. If you are on the road and need a place to stop in this area, it is well worth your time to find it. And finding it is very easy!
