Kestrel

For Reuter Campground: Spent a quiet beautiful nite here in mid October all by ourselves. Nice, clean USFS campground. Grateful for these campgrounds. Pit toilets served the purpose; no water... but better than boondocking

Gary

For Reuter Campground: We stayed here for one night in July. When we arrived there was one camper there plus the host. Later another camper showed up. The reservation fee I believe was $9 when we booked online and we certainly didn't need them. The campground is nice and the spots spacious. However, as previously mentioned, they do nail you $2 cash per dog which we haven't seen before in any of the campgrounds we've stayed in. Plus they come right over to count up your dogs and collect the fee. I did check on line and they do mention the $2 per animal at checkout but it's not obvious. So, the campground is a 5 but the dog policy drags it down to a 3 based solely on principle.

My2cents

For Reuter Campground: Surprised at $2/per night/per dog surcharge; would have preferred to pay that online when I made the reservation. Wonder where that money goes, since we had to give the host cash & were given no receipt for that? Other than that, this is a lovely, peaceful campground. (3-night stay)

Sarah

For Reuter Campground: Pretty spot, very convenient. Nice big sites, but up and down fairly steep hill for most. Reasons for poor rating are: water is located very awkwardly. Actually inside sites. Host site is very messy and he requires you to register with him. Loud dog, but WE had to pay a surcharge for our dog. No garbage service. This means we had to transport our dog messes. No garbage service means problems for families with kids in diapers as well. ?
