For CreekFire RV Resort and Campground: Excellent location, pristine and ample sights! Those so called RV “resorts†should take lessons from this park. We have been to multiple parks in several states and this is one of the top independent parks that we have stayed at.

For CreekFire RV Resort and Campground: What would you think of a park that moved you TWICE IN 2 DAYS even though they admitted it was there fault? Great? Good? Just ok? Well... that’s not the end of it. After dealing with John (awesome!) and moving our spot twice (once with guests visiting) we simply asked if we could have a late checkout the last day. Sherri, the manager said sure but ended the call with “we will charge you $15 for that requestâ€. What??!! After we have willingly moved our spot twice to accommodate YOUR ERROR you think as business it is a reasonable end to an “ok†stay to be totally ungracious and not wave a lousy $15??! It is NOT the money but the principle! It chaps us to have been kind and understanding only to have a manager be curt, rude and condescending. She actually said... “I will think about waving the fee and let you knowâ€....whoa!... Really? Wow! Just know what you’re getting into when you arrive. For context ...We put 45k miles on our class A coach last year alone and trust me ...this place was one of the worst experiences we’ve had ...RUDE and NOT customer friendly in the end. John, the maintenance man, went out of his way to be helpful, apologetic and professional. He ROCKS! But the desk staff and especially Sherri were enough to keep us from ever coming back again. Too many places that WANT our business to be treated like this. Good luck CreekFire with that attitude. Chad

For CreekFire RV Resort and Campground: Two years ago we met the developers of this RV park at an FMCA rally where they were really building up this park, which was under construction. We thought why not give them a shot as we were traveling through the area sometime. Well, we checked in today on our way to Maggie Valley for an overnight stay. This place is nice but not sure it is worth the price. I guess if you were staying a while and going into Savannah it might be worth the price. However, for an overnight stay, we will not use this part again.
We had a real struggle getting checked in. Shouldn’t have been the case since we made reservations and paid for the site on line the day before. However, it is clear that customer reception needs some polish and then their check in process was so laborious - get ready to sign a legal document (small print and everything) that for all intents and purpose relieves them on any and all liability that might ever happen inside their facility. Never seen a document like this before at an RV facility. The check in process took 1/2 hour from the time I walked into the reception area until I walked out to get in my coach. This needs some real attention.
Everything is extra. They get a very fair price for an overnight stay but they keep digging you for extras every time you turn around. They will likely loose business because of their nickel and dime approach to everything - I hope not because the area needs good facilities. However, we will not likely stay here again as we travel through the area.

For CreekFire RV Resort and Campground: Great RV resort with very nice facilities. Most weekends have some sort of entertainment or dinner planned for extra charge. As stated in other reviewes most everything you can think of is and extra charge on top of what you’ve already paid to stay. However it is understandable that some things are extra such as the dinners on weekends. While we stayed the 8 bucks for ours a piece wasn’t bad for what we got. I do agree that the shuttle is a little high priced but parking in Savannah is limited. Maybe one day the shuttle can be price about 5-7 dollars less to give more value to the guests. Cable or satellite tv should be included at the price point this operates at but it isn’t. Hopefully this will change soon. But all in all will stay again.
