For Sherling Lake Park and Campground: An off the beaten path slice of heaven. Gorgeous grounds, spacious sites, very relaxing, great friendly staff. Highly recommend for either extended stays or overnights.

For Sherling Lake Park and Campground: It’s a five star rating for the staff, their friendliness and extreme helpfulness, beautiful campground, spatial sites, clean with interesting walking trails.I give it it five stars, but if you’re looking for laundry facilities, a camp store, other amenities, or more than a clean, quiet site, you may be underwhelmed. We loved it and would totally return. Mike and Carey exceeded in hospitality, and we thank you. We broke down heading south from Connecticut and Montgomery and this was an oasis and much appreciated as we awaited repairs on our tow vehicle.

Clean and neat park grounds.
Lots of pull-thrus.
A nice lake.
The Women's restroom & shower house was clean and tidy.
I would definitely come back.

Presentpurfect
For Sherling Lake Park and Campground: Most of the campsites are occupied by long term campers so there isn’t a lot to select from. Everything looks worn and needs repairing. Campsite was level and paved and the camp manager was helpful and friendly. OK stop for a night but no longer.
