For KOA Holiday Des Moines West: This place was one of the best we have ever stayed at, and we have been all over the U.S.
We normally try to stay in State or National campgrounds, but if you need full hook ups I would say this is the best we have seen.
Super clean, well run, fun for kids, and the best bathrooms/ showers I have ever seen outside of a 4 seasons resort.
Really, I am not kidding. If you need a place by Des Moines, go here...

The hodges family
For KOA Holiday Des Moines West: Very clean friendly staff. Perfect for what we needed. A nice tent site for the night while traveling. Wi-fi was weak, but that's why one camps to get away. Great after a long travel day to grap an on site pizza.
