For Fireside Resort: Fireside Resort Campground, don't let the word "Resort" fool you. This is no resort, but a flat piece of land with no trees next to a busy and noisy interstate. The pool looks like it's been closed for years and is very small. The bathrooms and showers are in separated areas of the main building. The showers and bathrooms could be cleaner. A stall in the Men's bathroom has been "Out of Order" for the entire week since we arrived. The main office is usually closed until the owner needs to do some paperwork. You'll need to call the number and leave a message if you have any questions or issues. The dump site needs repairing and looks like it will never be fixed. I was going to purchase propane when leaving, but not now. I'll get it elsewhere when we're near our new destination.

For Fireside Resort: Stayed here overnight in a 50A, pull through FHU. Site was narrow but level gravel with grass on both sides. Previous tenants had left a large rug out on the lawn for too long and the grass was dead. What remained was a large mud bog that could not be avoided. Of course, it rained. It’s largely unattended. No one in the office, you pick a site from a map with available sites, fill out the application including credit card numbers, put the paper in a secured mail box and go park. We saw no one in any of the seasonal/long term rigs. This park has so much unrealized potential. It’s a shame it’s gotten to this state. There was a large tree that had been hit by lightening and was lying across our road. Everyone drives around it. The pump out station is closed, looks like long term. Pros- the restrooms were very clean although the trash was not emptied while we were there. It is convenient to the many nearby museums.

For Fireside Resort: The care taker is a piece of work very rude upon arrival, doesn't mow the property weekly, it's bad when the people staying at this rv park mows their spots, and I promise Allen the care taker will delete any bad messages referiref to how this park is maintained, and see the grass over 24" tall memorial day weekend with kids playing basketball on the basketball court and this worthless caretaker don't care about the people spending their own money to relax/camp/visit/cook out and etc.

For Fireside Resort: Stayed here three nights in a 40' motorhome. Had lots of rain which made the whole park very muddy and even the grassy areas were soggy. The owner is rarely in the office but answered the phone and returned my call promptly. Rest rooms were clean, laundry area, not so much. Very convenient to town and right off the interstate. No ice or camp store. Okay if passing through. Fire pit was full of trash when we got there and they didn't have our "self check-in" package for us when we arrived.
