For Alton Campground: This is a lovely, well-kept, family-owned Campground, close to Columbus. Joy is a delight to work with. She accommodated us with compassion under very stressful circumstances for us when a family member was in Hospital in Columbus.
But as an Ohio State grad, Word of warning. If you want to stay over any of The Ohio State University home football game weekends, book way ahead lol Thank you, Joy. We would come back.

For Alton Campground: I have reservations for this campground and due to COVID-19 changing our plans, I had to change reservations. Joy took the time to reschedule our reservations till next year. She was beyond helpful to make sure everything was right.

Branums
For Alton Campground: Very clean well laid out park. We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. The bathrooms, showers & laundry were spotless. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for a campfire the nights we were there, but the campfire area was beautiful. Downsides were that there is no shade & spots are close together. You can hear traffic from the road, but we didn’t find it to be a problem.
