For Alton Campground: Spaces are tight and overpriced. Owner is very anal but nice. Not much selection in the area.

For Alton Campground: It's difficult to find a decent campground in the Columbus area and this campground is no exception. It's a glorified gravel parking lot. If you're looking for a place to park your camper, this would do in a pinch but at $45 per night, it's a ripoff. No wifi, no cable and the bathrooms were still closed in April.

For Alton Campground: Convenient to family & friends in Columbus area and nice clean park. Nothing on site for kids but close to a lot of other activities. Very few trees for shade but everything else you need for a stop over. Very friendly staff.
